Course Director, Teaching Methodology and Business Tutor
Since the mid 90s Jasmin Bahia's presence in the Psychological, Health and Wellbeing field has flourished. In 1996 her passion for Yoga developed alongside her martial arts training, Psychology training and health and fitness teachings. Jasmin travelled to India, studying and training in the classical eight limbs of Hatha Yoga. With specialist training in Pregnancy Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga Sutras and Meditation, she cites Swami Govindananda, Swami Satyaprakash, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Antoinette Healey as her most influential teachers. Jasmin encourages students to work with grace, stability, warmth and humour. She is a qualified Psychologist, Yoga Teacher and student of Zen. She remains eternally thankful for the guidance and on-going support from her Zen Teacher. Jasmin has worked with Santosa, Yoga London, Yoga Nottingham and the British Wheel of Yoga (co-working on the pilot for Yoga reaching out the community) she believes Yoga is accessible is to all levels of ability, agility and ages.

Co-founder, Meditation andPhilosophy Tutor
Jake Dartington is a respected Vipassana Meditation teacher. Working with Gaia House, Manchester Mindfulness, Bristol Gaia House Group, Sheffield Insight Meditation Centre, Yoga London and various Meditation Centres in the UK and Europe. Jake has been practising Buddhist Meditation and Yoga since 1995, training as a Dharma Teacher with Christina Feldman and is also influenced by Stephen and Martine Batchelor. Jake holds Masters degrees in both Philosophy and Buddhist Studies. He teaches Religious Studies and Philosophy at Bilborough College in Nottingham, exploring ways to integrate Mindfulness practises within mainstream educational settings. Jake brings humility, warmth and kindness, his teachings prove very popular with the Yoga Teacher Trainees.
Caroline
Pranayama andMethodology Tutor
In 1997 whilst working as a teacher Caroline Arthur was introduced to the teachings of T. K. Krishnamacharya by Sheila Baker and begun studying with aYs (The Association of Yoga Studies). She completed her trainings with Ranju Roy and Dave Charlton as part of the Sadhana Mala Teacher and Therapy Practitioner Training Programme (aYs and The British Wheel of Yoga). Her approach to Yoga is sensitive and respectful of each person's uniqueness and starting point. Caroline incorporates pranayama, relaxation techniques, meditations, study and sound into her teachings. She teaches intimate, nurturing and friendly Yoga classes catering for various ages and abilities. She offers individual Yoga tuition/therapy, group classes and workshops throughout Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.

Teaching Methodology andDynamic Hatha Yoga Tutor
Claire Hatchell is a skilled and vibrant Yogini teaching Yoga since 2003. She runs popular classes throughout Birmingham in Hatha Yoga, Power Yoga and Pregnancy Yoga. Claire holds a Teaching Diploma with The British Wheel of Yoga, along with specialist qualifications in Pregnancy Yoga, and is certified to practise Thai Yoga Massage awarded through the Traditional Thai Yoga Massage Association (TTYMA). Claire is highly respected amongst the Yoga Teacher Trainees, her sessions are stimulating, engaging and extremely enjoyable. She delivers teachings with fun, ease and clarity.
Rachel
Anatomy and Physiology(A&P) Tutor
Rachel Burr's interest in the ancient Yoga practice was ignited after treating a Yoga teacher in 1997. Rachel acknowledges how this understanding has enhanced areas of her physiotherapy practice. Rachel brings together the theoretical and practical aspects of A&P to Yoga teachers effortlessly. Rachel has a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy MCSP. An established Physiotherapist she works with the GB Rowing and the GB Wheelchair Tennis team. She has worked with National level athletes in a variety of other sports such as Football, Golf, Athletics, and Tennis. She has taught numerous Yoga Teacher Trainees, at Yoga London and Yoga Nottingham.
Sharon
AyurvedaTutor
Sharon Jackson graduated from the Ayurvedic Institute where she studied with Dr Vasant Lad and Dr Claudia Welch. She went on to complete a BSc in Ayurveda in the UK followed by a PG Diploma in Ayurveda with internships in several hospitals in India. Sharon is a fully accredited member of the Ayurvedic Practitioners Association. She offers consultations in her North Nottinghamshire clinic and also visits patients in their own homes as necessary. Sharon is a passionate and dedicated practitioner, offering insightful and practical applications of Ayurveda for successful day to day living. Each year she spends time with her teacher in India and continues to deepen her knowledge the field of Ayurveda.

Business andMarketing Tutor
Marcus Batey is a lecturer on Visual Communications at degree level. He has written articles for blogs and worked extensively on creative and marketing projects, exhibiting work in London, New York and Vienna. Holding specialist teaching knowledge in the world of communications, Marcus will balance the practical aspects of running a Yoga business, along with promoting and establishing yourself as a successful Yoga teacher out in the big world. The Business of Yoga is one the most challenging yet rewarding sections on the course, the crux of how we balance something ancient in our modern lives and make an ethical living is a real eye opener.
