Quarterly Friday Evenings – Advanced Yoga with Jasmin

Welcome to our monthly Advanced Yoga workshop level 3 Mini Yoga workshops, open to our Yoga teachers, Yoga teacher trainees and our regular Yoga students who have a solid Yoga practice (over 3 years minimum).

Focussing on a stable Vinyasa Flow Yoga sequence the workshops will help to create internal heat for fluid movements, building suppleness, strength and concentration for meditation. These monthly advanced Yoga workshops will incorporate a classical theme to Yoga influenced by the Sivananda approach, with an opening and closing chant. Philosophical references, guided pranayama and steady holds with a deep relaxation to invite stillness from the practice.

Each month we will concentrate on a particular area of the body, for example, shoulders, hips, or the spine, building up to a specific posture. With some posture analysis and guidance on a set pose, you will receive help with the more demanding poses and how to work appropriately to your body’s ability.
