The programme is designed for any yoga student who would like to expand their knowledge, skills, and understanding of yoga and learn to teach it to an exceptional level. The course is also open to students who may not wish to teach classes to the public but want to gain insight to help their own professional and personal journey, such as physiotherapists or school teachers.

What kind of support will I receive?

Throughout the 200-hour Teacher Training Programmes, you will receive a mixture of one-to-one and group support. Our experienced teachers offer regular feedback and encouragement to help nurture your development. Additionally, you will receive coaching and mentoring from one of our Course Mentors.

To ensure that you match the knowledge you will have gained each month, coursework, home study assignments, and practices are built-in gradually and reflect your skills.

As there is a whole new wealth of knowledge to absorb and learn, it is important to be ready, committed, and prepared both off and on the mat. You will need to create time for weekly home study, along with the upkeep of regular Yoga practice and journal for the duration of the training.

During the training days, you will have scheduled breaks and a balance of practical and theory lessons. We aim to make the learning experience interactive, challenging, yet rewarding, and do all we can to help you develop into the best teacher you can be.

What is the next step after I have completed the course?

Once you have successfully completed the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Programmes, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to teach Yoga. However, there are a few additional steps you may want to consider:

  • Registering as a teacher with Yoga Alliance (International) accreditation, which the course meets the standards of. This would allow you to display RYT after your name (Registered Yoga Teacher) and use the Yoga Alliance logo. Please note that this is optional and only necessary if you wish to have professional accreditation.

  • Obtaining a valid insurance certificate, which is required before you can teach. This is to ensure that you are covered in case of any accidents or injuries that may occur during your classes.

We recommend that you consider both of these options for professional reasons.
