New Year Mindfulness Courses

Two new year mindfulness courses beginning in January 2019.

Jake will be leading two new years mindfulness courses at  Bahia Yoga. Monday evenings he will offer an 8 week Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy course (MBCT). On Tuesday afternoons he will be running a 8 week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course. All bookings and queries can be directed to Jake.

Monday evening: 6.45pm until 9pm

January 14th  and 21st 
February 4th , 11th and 25th 
March 4th, 11th and and 18th

An optional day of practice will run on Friday March 1st 2019.

The course includes guided meditations, opportunities to reflect on what we discover, guidance and feedback on home practice. It will include working with the breath, sounds, thoughts, difficult emotions and ‘mindful movement’.

Home practice forms an essential part of this course and each person will be given a handbook and a CD of guided meditations to help you develop this. Numbers will be limited to 15 people in this group and this will offer plenty of opportunity for interaction with the teacher.

Tuesday afternoon: 1.45pm until 4.15pm

January 15th and 22nd
February 5th, 12th  and 26th
March 5th, 12th and 19th
