Sunday Series Programme with Restorative Yoga
Sunday evenings: 6 to 7.15pm – From 7th, 14th, 21st to 28th January 2018.
This 4 week course will be led by Jasmin, and includes restorative yoga sequences to help alleviate stress on the body and mind. Restorative Yoga is open to all levels of students, and no experience is required. Each week we will spend time learning new postures that help to restore and relax. You will be offered tips on how to practice at home, and which items to sub at home.
Restorative yoga poses will calm and reset the entire body and mind to help prepare you for a deeper relaxation in Savasana (Corpse Pose). Each sessions begins with a few minutes of gentle movement and simple chants, before settling into a restorative pose. A little stretching will warm the muscles and create space in the body to prepare it for relaxation. Movement will also give the body a step by step process to settle into a place of stillness.
The Sunday Series consists of 4 week mini courses where you have time to explore the subtler, yet deeper aspects of Yoga practice. Previously we have run sessions on Pranayama, and Mudras, Mantra and Meditation. Our previous courses have been fully booked, so we suggest to book in advance.
