Yoga in the Garden World Refugee Day 2020

Saturday 20th June 10am to 11am

Join us for Yoga in the Garden on World Refugee Day.  Every year we host an event to raise awareness for World Refugee Day. This year’s theme is to ‘Take A Step With Refugees’.

Usually, we would collectively gather together in Wollaton Park, but this year due to COVID-19 we are doing it with a twist by hosting it online! We are challenging everyone to join together and take a step with refugees. It can be held in the comfort of your garden or the park via Zoom, on a Saturday morning.

Yoga in the Garden/Park for everyone

  • A 60-minute donation-based yoga class open to all.
  • The class will be hosted online through Zoom.

Yoga is for all. Our ethos is making Yoga accessible, welcoming each you, and available to everyone.  The class will explore a more mindful  flow, and steadier slower paced sequenced with a variety of yoga postures (asana), helping to build strength and suppleness. Includes a a mixture of meditation, mantra (sounds) and relaxation and breath work interweaved through the sequence.
