About International Yoga Day
The United Nations has declared that June 21 will be celebrated every year as International Yoga Day. The resolution was co-sponsored by 175 of the 193 member nations, and was so popular that it did not have to go for a vote and was adopted by an acclamation. “The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing Yoga”.
To make our evening in the park even park have a community feel, there will be a little treat from Beth who is the head Chef at Kiosk. At the end of the session we will have a donation box, we have chosen the charity Refugee Week to receive the donations from our event. We are also running special events throughout June including the Great Get Together Campaign.
We hope to see you soon, to celebrate Yoga. Namaste Yogis. Bahia team
