Book Your Yoga Class in Advance at Bahia Yoga

We offer a small number of online yoga classes, Yoga Nidra sessions and special events throughout the year.

Classes are taught byJasminder Bahia, who has been teaching yoga since 2003. Sessions may include yoga postures, pranayama, meditation and deep relaxation practices, creating a supportive and inclusive space for practice.

We currently focus on online yoga classes, which take place live via Zoom.

In-person yoga classes are occasionally available to the wider community when our Yoga Teacher Training programmes are running. Details of these classes will be shared through our timetable and mailing list.

Please check our timetable before booking, as dates and times may occasionally change. We recommend booking a few days before the class you wish to attend.

Please note: all classes listed here are online unless otherwise stated. A Zoom link will be sent with your booking confirmation.

    Wednesday Evenings & Sunday Mornings

These online yoga classes offer a steady and grounding practice rooted in the principles of Hatha Yoga.

Classes include a balance of movement, strengthening, release and relaxation, helping to ease physical tension and cultivate greater stability, awareness and connection within the body. Sessions may also include pranayama, meditation and reflections drawn from yogic philosophy and practice.

The emphasis is on developing awareness, strength and a sustainable personal practice rather than achieving advanced or performance-based postures.

Classes are taught by Jasminder Bahia, who has been teaching yoga since 2003. Her teaching draws on over twenty years of experience and aims to create a supportive, inclusive and welcoming space for practice.

The teaching is trauma-aware and encourages participants to practise with choice, curiosity and respect for their own bodies. However, classes are not intended as a substitute for therapy.

Accessibility

This class takes place online and can be accessed from your home or workplace.

The practice is informed by trauma-aware principles and care for the nervous system. The class is intended as a supportive space for practice and reflection, though it is not a substitute for therapy.

We welcome all members of the community to our classes. Please note that our in-person classes have limited accessibility due to our building having steps and not being wheelchair accessible. However, we offer online meditation and pranayama classes that can be accessed from your home or workplace.

We encourage pregnant students to join our online meditation and pranayama classes, as they are safe and beneficial during pregnancy. Please be aware that we do not currently offer specific pregnancy yoga (postural/asana) classes. Please get in touch if you have any queries about our classes.
