Please book in advance before attending a class at Bahia Yoga.
Welcome to our in-person and online sessions. Classes run either as a single class pass, or 5 and 10 class pass options, which you can buy directly online. If you have any queries please get in touch, we will be happy to help.
You can also check out our Yoga Classes FAQ for more information. Classes must be booked 1 hour in advance. Morning and Lunchtime classes 8 hours in advance. Please read our studio policy on COVID-19. In our studio sessions we continue to keep ample spaces between mats.
IN-PERSON 6 pm to 7 pm Yoga & Meditation for all levels with Jasminder*
The class offers postural yoga (asana) movements combined with pranayama (breathing techniques) – As well as simple guided meditation, and savasana (relaxation). The aim of this class is to help you destress, release mental and physical fatigue and feel healthier. This class runs live from the studio. This class follows some of the Ashtanga and Sivananda Yoga style principles.

IN-PERSON and ONLINE: 7.30 am to 8.15 am Early Morning Yoga with Karen Nix
IN-PERSON and ONLINE : 6 pm to 7 pm Hatha Yoga with Suzanne Kerwin

In-person: 6 pm to 7.15 pm 4 Week Beginners Course Yoga & Meditation with Jasminder
This 4-week Beginners course introduces you to the basics of Yoga and Meditation. You will learn about how Yoga can have a positive impact on your body and mind. Focussing on: Breathing Techniques, Asanas (yoga postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques), and the Yoga Sutras (philosophy). As well as how to help you relax physically and mentally. Each 4-week course has a new focus.

Mindful-paced classical yoga class, with strengthening asanas. This class offers a steady-paced flowing sequence, with time for meditation and relaxation. Suitable for experienced students. This class runs live from the studio.

IN-PERSON: 12 pm to 12.45 pm Community Meditation Class withJasminder
This class runs live from the studio. These classes are led by our director Jasminder (during January and February) or sometimes by our trainee teachers or recent graduates.
We are committed to making classes accessible for everyone, and we have a community class fee available of £5 for this session. A reduced fee entry is limited to those who cannot afford the regular fee, so we encourage only using the £5 class credit if you need extra support at this time. This class is also led by trainee teachers who are still developing their skills. We recommend not attending this class if you require specific focused support – or are recovering from an injury, or if your doctor or carer has recommended Yoga. In this instance, we ask you to book a class with a more experienced teacher.
This class requires a minimum of four attendees for the session to run.
IN-PERSON and ONLINE: 10 am to 11.15 am Hatha Yoga with Mini Yoga Nidra Jasminder Covering the basic classical standing and seated poses, with an emphasis on learning how to focus on breathing and flow into and out of yoga asanas (poses). Expect mindful cues and guidance on alignment and postural awareness. Open to mixed levels of experience, the practice is adapted for different abilities. This class runs live from the studio.

IN-PERSON and ONLINE: 10 am to 11.00 am Hatha Yoga with Paula Clarke
A mindful-paced class focussing on Hatha Yoga postures, with simple flows to help stretch and strengthen the body. includes relaxation, savasana, and simple guided breathwork. Suitable for mixed levels of experience including beginners. This class runs live from the studio.

Class levels explained
Level 1 — New to Yoga, a beginner Yoga student this one’s for you (suitable for pregnant students)*
Level 2 — Confident and able to move through the basic poses then try level two.
Level 3 — Been doing Yoga for more than 18 to 24 months? This is for you.
All levels — For mixed levels including beginners to more experienced students.
*Classes that are suitable during pregnancy are led by Director Jasminder Bahia, or Jasmine Sodhi please check in advance.
Fees
We continue to offer our classes live online with various membership options. This will allow people to make their own decisions about returning to the studio for in-person classes. There are three different class options to choose from via the booking system.
1 – In-person classes running at this studio.
2 – Live streamed in-studio classes (join an in-studio class – limited numbers)
3 – Online classes, from time to time you will join a class taught from the teachers’ home
