Please book in advance before attending a class at Bahia Yoga.

Welcome to our yoga sessions, both in-person and online. We offer a variety of yoga classes, both in-person and online. Our online classes include live-streamed in-studio options and online classes, including Yoga Nidra and one-off events – you can book via our booking system.

ONLINE: 7.30am to  8am Meditation with Jasminder

This class offers a simple guided meditation practice. The session begins with a focus on breath work and gradually guides participants into a seated meditation practice. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced in meditation, all levels of experience are welcome to join.

IN-PERSON: 6pm to 7pm Community Yoga Class – with Yoga teacher trainees

The class offers postural yoga (asana) movements combined with pranayama (breathing techniques) with a flowing style of postural movements. There will be some simple guided meditation, and savasana (relaxation). The aim of this class is to help you release mental and physical fatigue, and feel more balanced. This class runs live from the studio.  This community class is also available at reduced rate.

IN-PERSON and ONLINE: 7.30 am to 8.15 am Early Morning Yoga with Karen 

This is a class designed to increase your flexibility and help you build strength and stamina through a gentle mindful postural flow. This class is also suited to beginners and also suitable for all bodies and ages. Includes meditation and pranayama, which encourage you to find ways to relax and calm the mind. This class runs live from the studio. Please check the timetable as during autumn there are certain days the classes will not run
 
 

IN-PERSON and ONLINE: 6 pm to 7.15 pm Hatha Yoga with Suzanne

A mindfully paced Hatha Yoga class based on flowing movements with a guided relaxation and pranayama (breathwork) focus, suitable for all levels of experience. Single Class pass or buy a 5 or 10 multi-class pass: Click here for class credits

 

 

In-person and Online: 6 pm to 7.15 pm Yoga & Relaxation for Beginners + All levels with Jodie 

Note due to holidays there are no classes in late September / early October.
A mindfully paced Yoga class-based, suitable for beginners and beyond focussing on classical postures, and simple flowing movements with a focus on a longer guided relaxation (Svasana). IN-PERSON and ONLINE: 7 pm to 8 pm Hatha Dynamic Yoga with Karen

A classical yoga class, with strengthening asanas. This class offers a steady-paced flowing sequence, with time for meditation and relaxation. Suitable for experienced students, or people who have been attending sessions for a few months. Please check the studio timetable as there are a couple of dates the class won’t be running.

IN-PERSON: 12 pm to 12.45 pm Community Yoga Class

We are committed to making classes accessible for everyone, and we have a community class fee available of £5 for this session. 

This community class is  led by trainee teachers who are still developing their skills. We recommend not attending this class if you require specifically focused support – or are recovering from an injury, or if your doctor or carer has recommended Yoga. In this instance, we ask you to book a class with a more experienced teacher. 

This class requires a minimum of four attendees for the session to run.

IN-PERSON and ONLINE:  10 am to 11.00 am Hatha Yoga with Meditation – Paula

Covering the basic classical standing and seated poses, with an emphasis on learning how to focus on breathing and flow into and out of yoga asanas (poses). Expect mindful cues and guidance on alignment and postural awareness. Open to mixed levels of experience, the practice is adapted for different abilities. This class runs live from the studio. 

Note no 10 am Hatha classes will run on 30 September or 14 October.

IN-PERSON: Monthly Yoga Nidra Sessions 

September 30 from 10:30 am to 11 am with Jasminder Bahia
October 14 from 10:00 am to 10:45 am with Jasmine Sodhi

These morning practice sessions are a part of our six-month in-person Yoga Nidra Teacher Training programme. Yoga Nidra is a practice of deep relaxation and guided meditation, allowing you to reach a state of profound awareness and relaxation while remaining awake and conscious. Please note that these sessions focus on providing practical experience and are not the complete Yoga Nidra training, just a small aspect of the practice. They are exclusively available to our members and not open to drop-ins.

10 am to 11 am: IN-PERSON and ONLINE: Hatha Yoga with Paula 

A mindful and uplifting Hatha Yoga Class for those interested in learning more about Savasana (relaxation) alongside their Hatha Yoga practice. A grounded practice with a focus on pranayama, and mindful flowing movements with a mixture of asanas (yoga postures) to help provide strength stability, and ease for the body and mind. This class is open to mixed levels of experience.
