Kriya Yoga workshop for fatigue

Workshops |

Join Jasmine Sodhi for her Kriya Yoga workshop for fatigue. Runs on Sunday 18 September, from 11.00 am to 1 pm with time for Q&A, and chai after the session.

Kriya yoga works on the mind, body, and emotions. Focussing on movement, breath-work, and meditation to clear out stagnant energy. This helps to leave us feeling more vibrant. Regular practice of Kriya yoga shifts our perspective and brings us closer to experiencing the divinity of our true selves. When we begin to touch the sat (the deeper authentic truth) within us, we begin to see the divine in all beings, and situations. Kriya yoga helps to open up our heart center (the Anahata chakra) and we begin to experience life with greater compassion (Daya) and contentment (Santokh).

What will the Kriya Yoga workshop for fatigue cover?

The workshop will include practices to shift fatigue and exhaustion using yoga postures used in traditional Hatha yoga and kundalini yoga. Including pranayama (breathwork), and mudras (hand positions). With guided relaxation (Shavasana), meditation, and mantras to calm the mind. And to work the body, and help rejuvenate the nervous system.

What do you need for the workshop?

It is advisable to practice on an empty stomach and avoid eating at least 2 hours before the workshop. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. The workshop is open to all levels of experience including beginners.
