We have Yoga Nidra classes running at Bahia Yoga. Yoga Nidra is a type of guided meditation that helps you relax and fall asleep. It’s also known as “yogic sleep,” because it can help you get the rest you need to feel more engaged during the day. Yoga Nidra is one of the most effective ways to relax your body and mind. It does this by reducing tension in muscles, and quieting thoughts so that you’re better able to focus on being present in the moment. Yoga Nidra can help to let go of worries or anxieties that may be keeping you awake at night. By practicing Yoga Nidra regularly, we can learn how not only to fall asleep faster but also stay asleep longer throughout the night without waking up feeling groggy or unrested.

Yoga Nidra Classes at Bahia Yoga

Yoga Nidra classes are held monthly, on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm led by our lead trainer Jasminder. These classes are suitable for those with prior experience in Yoga Nidra and/or meditation. The next series of Yoga Nidra Classes will be held in May, June, and July/August 2019. The dates are as follows:

  • 16 May
  • 13 June
  • 11 July
  • 1 August

Each session will run for 30 to 45 minutes. These classes are open to our members and are not available as single-class pass drop-ins.

Yoga Nidra Training Course with Bahia Yoga

As well as the Yoga Nidra classes, Bahia Yoga offers an accredited six-month teacher training course, which is led by Psychologist and Yoga teacher trainer Jasminder Bahia
