Yoga, Meditation & Journaling for Winter Solstice

As the longest night of the year arrives in December, we are getting ready for Yoga, Meditation and Journaling for Winter Solstice 2020. It’s time to create time for a practice of gratitude.

This winter solstice includes yoga, meditation and journaling. Please have a pen and notepad with you. We begin by lighting a candle, incense or switching on some fairy lights. The practice focuses on nourishing and soothing our inner self. With mudra, mantra, asana and pranayama.  Plus a nourishing yoga nidra practice (a guided meditation for deeper relaxation). Both sessions are  led by Jasminder Bahia, a Psychologist, a student of Zen, and Yoga Educator/ Trainer.

What is Winter Solstice?

The word ‘solstice’ comes from the Latin solstitium meaning ‘Sun stands still’.  Winter solstice is an important time of celebration for cultures across the globe. In the UK, the actual moment the solstice occurs is around 10.02am on Monday 21 December, 2020.

Monday 21 December, 2020 –  Runs 6pm to 7.30pm

The session is £15 online, or £18 in person session at the studio (limited to 8 students).  Gift cards are available to purchase the session online.  Current class pass holders can allocate a portion of class passes towards the cost of the session.

Please book via the website, once you have purchased your ticket, please remember to add yourself to the event. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you have any questions please contact us. We look forward to welcoming you all to the sessions.
