Our Sunday series returns with a special restore sequence for mind and body. The Sunday Series consists of a mini programme which runs every quarter, looking at the subtler aspects of Yoga. This course is open to anyone who is interested to learn more about Yoga, and what lays beyond the postures.

For autumn 2018, this Sunday series restore sequence for mind and body, will run over a two week period, from 3 to 5pm.  Suitable for all levels, including anyone new to Yoga.

Restore Sequence for mind and body – Meditation and Asana

The first hour focuses on some simple guided meditation and pranayama. Followed by postures to restore the body and provide ease for the lower back. These poses will provide an opportunity to restore the body and allow it be supported with props. With some Yin poses to help provide some release. This is ideal if you are looking at ways to find balance in the body, and find a sense of ease in your practice.

Restore Sequence for mind and body – Mantra and Yoga Philosophy

The second hour will focus on simple chants, mudra and mantras. Followed by tea (and healthy bites) and onto Yoga philosophy. With readings and discussions from the Heart of Yoga book. This session provides a deeper look at what is beyond the Yoga postures. Ideal if you are keen to deepen your understanding of Yoga, in a safe environment with like-minded people. These sessions are open to all, from Yoga students, teachers and to newbies,
