4 week Yoga Nidra course – Sunday Series
Runs Sundays in April, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th 6.15pm to 7.15pm
A proven antidote to anxiety, Yoga Nidra has been adopted by older people to younger people. From stressed out parents to overworked executives. This new 4 week Sunday Series course on Yoga Nidra is suitable for all levels of Yoga experience. Whether you are new to Yoga, or an experienced Yogi, or teacher of Yoga everyone is welcome to attend.
The Benefits of Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice, but not as well known as the physical practice of Yoga. It is a systematic form of guided deepest relaxation that is typically done for 15 to 30 minutes at a time. Regular practictions say that it often brings immediate physical benefits, such as better sleep, reduced levels of stress and a sense of calmness.

How the 4 week course runs
Each week we will begin with some mindful movement, this will help open and release tensions and help the body prepare for Yoga Nidra. The 4 week course is £45 per person. If you need to miss a single session of the course, please let us know in advance. Each week you will have guidelines for some self study. You have access to two short recordings during the course for home practice.
Bring your own yoga mat, or one will be provided if you don’t have one. And bring an extra blanket to keep your wam.

Every quarter Bahia Yoga runs a 4 week Sunday Series, a set of short 4 weekly courses focussing on the more subtle yet more calming and soothing traditional practices. Previous courses have covered pranayama, restorative yoga and mudras, mantra and chanting. Our next programme will run in June 2018.
